Hot Out Of The Press

At last, a year later, I finished. Sweating as I stood before the machine while we prepared to push it in, to have it coated. The last step before it is sealed, potentially destroying the drawing. The guys at e-arc.com help me create the proper tension so that the drawing will survive the process and remain sandwiched between two pieces of a semi-opaque matte material.

IRVINE FINE ARTS CENTER

I JUST MET THE IRVINE FINE ARTS CENTER CURATOR/ CARL BERG, FORMER GALLERIST AND NOW EMERGING ARTIST THIS PAST WEEKEND AT A MT. SAC COLLEGE .  HE WAS IN A GROUP SHOW WITH MANY OTHER CURATORS AND ART WRITERS, EACH WHO ARE NOW MAKING ART AS WELL. WE GOT TO TALKING...I DONATED A SMALL PIECE FOR THIS EVENT.  THE FINE ARTS CENTER IS LOOKING FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TOO FURTHER THE RIGOROUS ARTISTIC EXHIBITION SCHEDULE.  

HOPE YOU CAN COME OUT,  I HAVE ONE ABSTRACT-ISH PIECE IN THE SHOW.  I TRACED LIGHT THAT WAS PROJECTING THROUGH A PRISM TO CREATE THE PIECE.

TIME: 3-6 P.M. THIS SATURDAY (September 21st)
