Works included in this section were chosen to showcase some of the most successful works of art my students have created over the past eight years. Each image is a project and has many more images within that respective collection. Other student work available upon request.
The Annual Middle - High School Art Show is designed, curated and installed by the high school art department. As tradition would have it, the AP Art students create the theme and design a logo for t-shirts to be printed and sold. All profit is donated to Tarbut V' Torah's sister school: Willard Intermediate in Santa Ana, California; an underprivileged community school in need of funding. Over the years the art show has consisted of raffles or auctions which include live painting demos by the advanced students and live music or student DJ's. Once the invitations are sent to all of the parents and friends of the mIddle and high school students, the artist reception takes place. Following the evening artist reception is a day of docent tours by the advanced art students. Many of the elementary school classes of 15 or more receive a personal tour of the art show.
Tarbut V' Torah senior Advanced Placement Art students graduate and participate in their first community exhibition as real artists. On display from June 14, 2014 through July 12, 2014.
27 Orange County schools participated in the Orange County Varsity Arts Competition of the Year. Senior, HANNAH REINHARD from Tarbut V'Torah was a Top 10 Finalist.
Tarbut V' Torah was invited to participate in the 40th Annual Color It Orange, County Wide High School Art Competition at the Laguna College of Art and Design. Tarbut V'Torah's Art Department present work by 1 Sophomore and 4 Juniors showcasing watercolors and digital drawing.
The Imagination Republic is a middle school club that makes creative products to help stop child labor globally. This year we celebrated our 4th birthday. Products include: Teacher Ringtones, Your Favorite Teacher T-shirts, the well loved Kabaffle Sale and lastly, The Donut and Pickle Sale. 50 % of all profit goes to STOPCHILDLABOR.ORG
